After the Night Is Over

As with after the first date, always say something nice about the time you spent together. Don't make false promises about what comes next if you're not interested. but, if you are interested, then go ahead and let him know. He'll welcome the encouragement!

Follow up the parting with a causal phone call, e-mail, fax, cell phone call, or message on her machine saying something like, "I had a great time." Comment on something you shared. Even tell a joke. Keep the contact going. Send a fun card (stationary stores are filled with all kinds of greeting cards for all occasions, or make one yourself) or write a personal note with something poetic or funny. This is the time to start revealing your unique personality even more.
