Keep in mind these tips to help avoid disastrous dates:

• DON'T suggest overly expensive places or events for a first date unless you clarify who's paying.
• DON'T look at other women/men.
• DON'T monopolize the conversation.
• DON'T lie about anything (for example, your marital status or your financial situation).
• DON'T talk about your ex-relationships.
• DON'T become too intoxicated (unless it's with each other).
• DON'T make sexual approaches too quickly or insistently -- send out vibes and wait for a welcome response.
